Clicking a photograph of two birds in the same frame is difficult, but when it comes to two different species, it gets even more difficult.
Here are such interesting and rare photographs where two different species of birds have been captured in the same frame.
1. Black Drongo – Indian Roller

Black Drongo – Left. Black with forked tail
Indian Roller – Right. Blue and cream
Sharing the information on the best bugs of the area.
2. Pied Bushchat – Black Winged Kite

Pied Bushchat – Left. Small black with white wing bar
Black Winged Kite – Right. Bigger with grey back
Only a brief acknowledgment, and the Bushchat is off.
3. Shikra – Crested Serpent Eagle

Shikra – Left. Smaller
Crested Serpent Eagle – Right. Bigger
A few seconds before the Shikra chases the Eagle away, despite it being half the size.
4. Cattle Egret – Brahminy Kite

Cattle Egret – Left. White with long cream neck and head
Brahminy Kite – Right. White head and brown body
Both seem to be looking for the same food, bugs.
5. Indian Jungle Crow – Cattle Egret

Indian Jungle Crow – Left. Smaller and Black
Cattle Egret – Right. White with cream neck and yellow beak
The Crow is curious to know why the camera is pointed towards it while the Egret is probably thinking about the massive difference on their colour scale.
6. Brahminy Kite – Brahminy Starling

Brahminy Kite – Left. Bigger with white head and brown body
Brahminy Starling – Right. Smaller with black crown and cream body.
The two Brahminy birds get together for a chat.
7. Oriental Honey Buzzard – Brahminy Kite

Oriental Honey Buzzard – Below. Dodging the Brahminy Kite.
Brahminy Kite – Above. Pulling out of the dive.
The Brahminy Kite is trying to steal the Honey Buzzard’s nest, and will go to any extent to do so.
8. Oriental Honey Buzzard – Indian Jungle Crow

Oriental Honey Buzzard – Left and Below. Larger and brown.
Indian Jungle Crow – Right. Smaller and black.
A “Nobody likes Brahminy Kites!” meeting.
9. Indian Jungle Crow – Crested Serpent Eagle

Indian Jungle Crow – Left and above. Black.
Crested Serpent Eagle – Right and below. White band on wings and tail.
Crows can be very annoying, and it takes some grit to stand up to a horde of them.
