Here’s a LEGO aquaponics system. The build was fairly straightforward. Elements like the water’s surface and the plants at the top really got the creativity going. The goal was to ensure it closely resembled a real system. All the same, it also needed to have its own distinctness. It was a delight to incorporate the bell siphon, air-pump, and all the other plumbing equipment in the model.
The tank sports a dozen Tilapia fish, while the garden houses a variety of plants. These include papaya, cauliflower, pineapple, carrots, chives, and mint. It also has a few plants which we have invented, like the lavender flower on the olive stalk. Can you spot the butterfly in the bellow images, by the way?
